A January Reminder: The Beyond the Bell One Minute Reflections on LinkedIn

As schools return from winter break and routines reset, I want to make sure Beyond the Bell readers are aware of something we have already put into motion.

In early December, Beyond the Bell began publishing a weekly one minute reflection video series on LinkedIn. The series is public, ongoing, and designed to add a second touchpoint to the work Beyond the Bell does through longer form writing.

These videos are intentionally simple. One minute. One idea. One reflection grounded in student life, belonging, leadership, and the lived realities of school communities.

Sometimes the reflection connects directly to a Beyond the Bell article and expands the idea in a more conversational way. Other times, it does not connect to an article at all. Those reflections stand on their own as quick observations, questions, or lessons from the field.

Either way, the purpose is the same. To create a consistent weekly moment that is brief enough to fit into your day, but meaningful enough to spark thought and conversation.

If you want to follow along, look for the Beyond the Bell one minute reflections every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. on LinkedIn. I hope you will watch, share, and add your perspective in the comments, especially when a reflection names something you have been seeing in your own school community.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for continuing the conversation with us as we move into the new year.
